Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your account and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Delete from the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Zareva app:

Open Settings
Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the home screen, or navigate to the Settings tab.

Go to Account
Scroll down and tap Account in the settings list.

Tap "Delete Account"
At the bottom of the Account screen, tap the Delete Account button.

Confirm Deletion
You'll be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your local data is cleared immediately and your cloud data will be permanently deleted within 45 days.
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you can't access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing privacy@zareva.app from the email address associated with your Zareva account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request and permanently delete all your data within 45 days.

- Reminder history and logs
- Wellness check-in data
- Health journal entries
- Refill tracking data
- Doctor appointments and action items
- Streak and achievement data
- Caregiver relationships
- Care Circle connections
- Notification preferences
- Device tokens
- Your account and profile
Not affected
- Your caregiver's own account (if applicable)
- Active app store subscription (cancel separately)
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you'd like to use Zareva again after deletion, you'll need to create a new account and re-enter your medications.
Cancel Your Subscription First
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid being charged after deletion, cancel your subscription through your device's app store before deleting your account:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Zareva → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zareva → Cancel
Timeline
- Immediately: Local data on your device is erased. You are signed out.
- Within 45 days: All cloud-stored data is permanently deleted from our servers (compliant with Washington MHMDA).
- After 45 days: No trace of your data remains in our systems.
