Yes. Unlimited medication tracking, reminders, refill tracking, drug interaction checking, wellness check-ins, and more are free forever. This is a permanent, public commitment — not a trial or a teaser. Optional paid tiers (Plus, Circle) add convenience features like AI insights, advanced analytics, and expanded caregiver sharing, but the core features you depend on will never be paywalled.

Tap the + button on the home screen. Enter the medication name, dosage, frequency, and schedule. You can set multiple reminder times per day, choose persistent or standard alarms, and add notes. Your first reminder will be set automatically.

Zareva is available on iOS (iPhone, iOS 15 and later) and Android (Android 8.0 / API 26 and later). It works on phones and tablets. Your data syncs across devices when Cloud Backup is enabled.

Standard notifications can be swiped away or buried under other alerts. Zareva's persistent alarms display a full-screen alert with sound that keeps ringing until you actively respond — by marking the medication as taken, skipped, or snoozed. This is especially helpful for ADHD medications, time-sensitive doses, and anyone who tends to dismiss notifications reflexively.

On Android: Go to device Settings → Apps → Zareva → Battery → set to "Unrestricted." Also check Settings → Apps → Zareva → Notifications and make sure notifications are enabled. Some manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei) have aggressive battery optimization that can kill background apps — check your manufacturer's specific settings.

On iOS: Go to Settings → Notifications → Zareva and make sure Allow Notifications is on, with Banners, Sounds, and Badges enabled. Also check Settings → General → Background App Refresh and make sure Zareva is enabled.

Go to Care Circle in the app and tap "Invite Caregiver." Enter their email address. They'll receive an invitation email with instructions to download Zareva and create a caregiver account. Once they sign up with the same email, they'll see your wellness data on their dashboard. You can invite 1 caregiver on the free plan, 2 on Plus, and up to 6 on Circle.

Your caregiver can see your medication schedules, whether you've taken or missed doses, and your wellness check-in summaries. They can set up escalation alerts so they're notified if you miss a dose. They cannot modify your medications or settings. You can remove a caregiver at any time, which immediately revokes their access.

Your data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 encryption and in transit with TLS 1.3+. Encryption keys are stored in your device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain or Android EncryptedSharedPreferences). Our database uses row-level security policies so only you and your authorized caregivers can access your data. We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or third-party data processors beyond what's listed in our Privacy Policy.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes all your data within 45 days. For detailed instructions, see our account deletion page. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@zareva.app.

No. We will never sell, rent, or trade your health data. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or social media platforms. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing. This is a core principle of how we built Zareva, not just a policy — there are no ad SDKs or tracking pixels in the app. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:

iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Zareva → Cancel Subscription
Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zareva → Cancel

After cancellation, you'll retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Your medications, reminders, and all free features will continue working as normal.

No. Cancelling a subscription only removes access to premium features. All your medications, reminders, logs, and wellness data are preserved. You can continue using the free tier with all its features indefinitely.
